Title: Data & Reporting Analyst $27.43 - $31.06 / Posted Thru: 6/12/2026 Location: Must work and Live in the state of Michigan 2 days per week in office during probationary period Potential for remote work afterward based on operational needs Purpose: This position collaborates with the Cancer Prevention and Control Section Data Team to perform data and analytical tasks necessary for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Control and Navigation Program (BC3NP) and the Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation (WISEWOMAN) program. Data for both programs are housed in the Michigan Breast and Cervical Cancer Information System (MBCIS). The individual, in collaboration with the Data Team, will maintain the BC3NP/WISEWOMAN report process and develop other reports as needed. The individual will assist with federal data reporting requirements for programs within the Cancer Section and will work with database programming staff to support maintenance and improvements to database software. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Cancer Section Data Team to do data/analytical tasks necessary for BC3NP and WISEWOMAN programs.
Collaborate with the Data Team to maintain the BC3NP/WISEWOMAN report process and develop other reports as needed.
Work with database programming staff to maintain database and reporting tool software and related requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major required; at least 12 semester (18 term) credits in data sciences, statistics, research methods, or a related field preferred. Experience: Two or more years of related professional experience. Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Standard office environment. Requires valid vehicle operator's license where needed to perform duties of the position. Frequent deadlines. Capacity for in-state and out-of-state travel for related meetings. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: No Assigned Responsibilities. IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS:This position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided by MPHI to MDHHS. REQUIRED COMMUNICATION
