Description Job Title: Material Handler Location: On-Site - Dallas, TX Employment Type: Contract to Direct Industry: Defense & Aerospace Compensation: $20.00/hr Schedule: 9x80, 1st shift ( 6:00am-3:30pm) About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support the movement, tracking, and delivery of materials throughout the facility. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are properly labeled, protected, and delivered to designated production and storage areas. What You'll Do: Transport materials throughout the facility using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other material handling equipment. Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, shelves, trays, and vehicles while ensuring safe handling practices. Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to identify, move, and stage materials for production or storage needs. Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records within the ERP system, including counting, weighing, labeling, and tracking materials. Use hand tools to secure, brace, strap, or package materials to ensure protection during storage and transit.
