The Equipment & Service Install Technician independently installs, services, troubleshoots, and repairs lubrication, automotive service, and fluid handling equipment across customer locations. This role partners directly with customers to diagnose equipment concerns, complete complex installations, and deliver responsive technical support while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ES Install Tech applies advanced troubleshooting skills and technical expertise to support operational reliability and customer satisfaction.   • Independently install and commission vehicle lifts, fluid dispensing systems, pumps, tanks, reels, and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues with minimal supervision
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and identify equipment improvement opportunities
  • Travel to customer locations to respond to service calls, perform repairs, and support installation projects
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and installation specifications
  • Manage service calls efficiently while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams
  • Accurately document repairs, inventory usage, service reports, and project updates
  • Maintain company service vehicle inventory, tools, and equipment readiness
  • Support troubleshooting efforts involving equipment performance, operational failures, and customer concerns
  • Train and mentor less experienced technicians on technical procedures, safety expectations, and customer service standards
  • Coordinate with leadership and operations teams to prioritize customer needs and project timelines
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental procedures, and company standards
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and supplier certification programs
  • Travel overnight greater than 20% to support regional customer and installation needs
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned



Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED


Experience and/or Training:



  • 3-5 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, equipment installation, or related technical field


License/ Certification:



  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to independently complete complex service and installation work
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple service assignments
  • Ability to travel overnight greater than 20% as business needs require
  • Proficiency with mobile technology and service documentation systems


  • Technical degree or trade certification
  • Experience with vehicle lifts, lubrication systems, or industrial fluid handling systems
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, or industrial electrical systems
  • Supplier or manufacturer equipment certifications
  • Experience mentoring or training teammates in field service environments



Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands:



  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, and working at elevated heights
  • Exposure to changing weather conditions, industrial environments, and customer job sites
  • Extended driving and overnight travel requirements
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles, ladders, lifts, and power equipment



The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $25 and $32 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:
