Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Head of Patient Solutions Digital Innovation who is visionary, strategic, and results-driven to join us in our Patient Solutions team, based in our Boston or Cambridge, MA offices.

About the role

You will lead the creation, validation, and scaling of digital innovation initiatives that improve patient experiences and outcomes. You will accelerate innovation by rapidly testing ideas, prioritizing high-impact opportunities, and embedding scalable solutions into core business operations. In this role, you will balance speed and rigor, ensuring innovation delivers measurable value while effectively managing risk.

Who you'll work with

You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Patient Solutions, digital, and business teams. You will partner with senior leaders and external collaborators to align strategy, validate opportunities, and scale innovative solutions that deliver meaningful impact.

What you'll do

  • Lead innovation strategy and prioritize high-impact digital opportunities
  • Drive rapid validation of new solutions and concepts
  • Define scaling, pivot, or exit strategies for initiatives
  • Establish governance, metrics, and prioritization frameworks
  • Deliver prototypes with clear go or no-go decisions
  • Manage risk through build, buy, or partner approaches

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following

Minimum requirements

  • 10+ years experience in digital innovation or transformation leadership roles
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional teams in complex global environments
  • Proven track record delivering scalable digital solutions
  • Verifyable experience managing innovation portfolios and prioritization frameworks
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and senior leadership communication
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Preferred requirements

  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or patient-focused industries
  • Advanced degree in business, technology, or related discipline
  • Experience working with external partners and innovation ecosystems
  • Strong expertise in rapid prototyping and validation methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change in ambiguous environments
  • Experience establishing governance and innovation operating models

This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $168,000 to $220,500 per year. The actual salary offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
