Product Test Engineer II

Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite - 5 days/week)

Duration: ~12-month engagement


About the Role

We're seeking a Product Test Engineer II to support hands-on testing and validation of consumer products in a fast-paced lab environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with physical products, running tests, analyzing data, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance.

You'll play a key role in evaluating product durability and performance, helping teams make informed decisions throughout the product development process.


What You'll Do

  • Perform hands-on materials and mechanical testing in a lab environment
  • Operate and maintain testing equipment to evaluate product performance and durability
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data, including statistical analysis
  • Create clear, concise test reports and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with product development and engineering teams to support product validation
  • Assist in improving test methods, processes, and lab efficiency
  • Support multiple testing projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in product testing, materials testing, or lab-based engineering work
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical or materials testing equipment (e.g., Instron or similar)
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities


Nice to Have

  • Exposure to biomechanics or human performance testing
  • Experience with consumer product testing (e.g., footwear, apparel, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CAD or product design concepts
  • Experience using statistical methods to analyze test results

Additional Details

  • Onsite requirement: 5 days/week in Beaverton, OR
