Content Data Specialist (Contract)

About the Role

Aquent is partnering with a leading Fortune 500 retail organization to identify a Content Data Specialist for a contract opportunity supporting digital content operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, content systems, and quality assurance processes to ensure digital experiences remain accurate and organized.

You'll play an important role in maintaining product information, metadata, and content across internal platforms while supporting publishing workflows that impact millions of customers.


What You'll Do

  • Enter, update, and maintain content within CMS and internal platforms
  • Upload and format product information, metadata, images, and related assets
  • Review content for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Audit content and data for quality issues, duplicates, or outdated information
  • Support content publishing and maintenance workflows
  • Track updates and document completed work
  • Identify and escalate data inconsistencies or system issues


What You Bring

  • Experience working with content management systems, databases, or ecommerce platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience performing quality assurance or data validation activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage repetitive work while maintaining accuracy


Nice to Have

  • Experience with Mirakl
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, or Zendesk
  • Ecommerce or retail industry experience
  • Product catalog or product information management experience
  • Experience supporting content publishing workflows

The target hiring compensation for this role is $15-$16.97/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
