Responsibilities:

  • Provide nuclear safety technical support services in accordance with 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and applicable standards such as DOE-STD-3009-94, DOE-STD-3009-2014 and DOE-STD-1189-2016.
  • Utilize demonstrated experience in the hazard identification, hazard screening, and hazard evaluation process.
  • Perform accident and consequence analysis process.
  • Assist with identification and development of engineered and/or administrative controls credited for the prevention or mitigation of postulated accidents.
  • Document the results of these processes in safety analysis reports, documented safety analyses, and technical safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum education of a Bachelor of Science degree.
  • A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be US citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if needed.
