Job Duties: Vice President, External Product Specialists with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Responsible for the Wealth Management Investment Strategy Group (ISG) client communications and marketing efforts. Communicate ISG's views through written reports on the economy and financial markets to Goldman Sachs' clients and prospects. Generate, write and publish briefing reports (5-10 pages) and prepare deep-dive reports together with team members (approx. 100 pages). Verbally articulate the team's investment views to Goldman Sachs' clients and prospects, and present in client or prospect meetings, internal presentations and videos for the wealth management website. Responsible for ISG marketing, including leading marketing of ISG content which is used firmwide. Develop marketing plans for ISG content alongside the wealth management and executive office marketing teams, including reviewing and editing marketing newsletters and articles. Develop and manage ISG brand and ensure consistent application of ISG branding and written tone across all internal and external communications. Oversee ISG media communications alongside the Executive Office and coordinate with Goldman Sachs media relations to review newspaper interviews and manage LinkedIn accounts for ISG leadership. Prepare presentation materials and liaise with private wealth advisors, senior leaders, and portfolio managers for the preparation of internal presentations, and client and prospect pitch books. Conduct various research projects, including performing financial analysis, that are used to inform investment views for broad thematic reports, annual outlook publication and investment views. Assist portfolio managers on an ad-hoc basis on research projects to generate investment views.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management or a related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with the following: developing and producing comprehensive written research reports including deep-dive reports on an investment theme (approx. 100 pages) and shorter briefings notes (5-10 pages) covering equities; presenting investment views and financial analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences; financial analysis including fundamental analysis (valuations, profitability, financial statements and cash flow analysis) and technical analysis (direction of prices through the study of historical patterns and past market data); quantitative and qualitative analysis utilizing Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other market tools such as Bloomberg and Reuters; working with senior and executive leadership and managing tight deadlines; working with team members, and many intradepartmental groups on marketing efforts, specifically content marketing using written, presentation and visual forms of communication across various platforms; producing presentations for external clients outlining financial analysis and investment views, as well as monitoring team changes to economic or asset class forecasts; and project management and managing a variety of tasks with competing deadlines. Must have three (3) years of experience with the following: developing and producing comprehensive written research reports covering various global financial assets including fixed income, currencies and commodities. Domestic and international travel required approximately 15% of the time.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York based position is $ 141,000 - $ 338,0000.
