The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for managing project prioritization and project deployment for the plant as well as managing and tracking all project activity to ensure the plant achieves financial goals. It is also the role of the Continuous Improvement Domain Lead to ensure that all tools and methodologies are deployed and applied correctly for all Domains and centers in the plant. Additional responsibilities include: Managing project activities to insure prioritized attack on plants top financial losses; deploying proper methodology to all levels of the organization; managing all plant Kaizen activities; leading and managing the Continuous Improvement Team to ensure proper deployment of methodology plant wide; leading Shop Floor Management (SFM) methodology at all levels of the plant; providing coaching on Kaizen methodology to all levels of the organization; ensuring that all Domains are deploying proper methodology according to Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) standards; researching and developing learning materials on intermediate and advanced problem solving methods to be deployed to senior problem solvers and engineers; managing, developing, and tracking department's performance and devise strategies to maintain or meet corporate goals; establishing and maintaining the documentation of processes by utilizing FCA's Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) tools; leading root cause analysis for vehicle build, warranty and other customer quality concerns; tracking and resolving new model launch key performance indicators; critiquing all Kaizens (Levels 1,2,3 & 4) to ensure tools are applied properly and methodology is followed; preparing for SIS audits to demonstrate and defend plants progress to SIS criteria; ensuring data integrity for all Kaizen activity; submitting corporate reports for all Kaizen activities in the plant.
