Key Responsibilities As a Roll-Off Driver, you will: Safely operate roll-off trucks and related equipment Deliver, pick up, and empty large containers for commercial customers Secure containers using hooks, straps, and tarps as needed Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards Complete daily DVIR and safety lane documentation Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle Operate compaction and lifting equipment safely and efficiently Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, supervisors, and team members Qualifications Requirements: Valid Class A or Class B CDL Clean Driving Record Minimum 21 Years of Age Previous Roll-Off or Commercial Driving Experience Preferred Ability to understand DOT regulations and safe driving practices Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to complete paperwork and maintain accurate service records Ability to safely perform physical job duties and inspections Additional Expectations Participate in company-sponsored safety and training programs Stay current with company technology and operational procedures Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned Be the Distinguishable Difference Waste Pro is looking for energetic, safety-focused professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional service. Physical Requirements To successfully perform this role, employees must be able to: Push and pull up to 50 pounds independently throughout the workday Lift up to 50 pounds independently from ground level to waist height on a frequent basis Safely enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle multiple times per shift Lift up to 100 pounds with assistance when required Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, and twist throughout the workday Reach overhead and secure tarps using a tarp pole and moderate pulling force Climb up to 8 feet to deploy and secure tarping equipment Work extended shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours Perform duties in varying outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other environmental elements Work Environment This position regularly works outdoors and may be exposed to: Extreme weather and temperature conditions Vehicle vibrations and elevated noise levels Dust, fumes, odors, and other environmental conditions associated with waste and recycling operations Safety is a top priority at Waste Pro, and employees are provided with the necessary protective equipment and training to perform their duties safely and effectively.
