Asset Manager

LOCATION:Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA

Salary Range:$110-120,000 annually*

*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried

CLEARANCE: Secret clearance needed at time of hire

Astrion has an opportunity for a Asset Manager to support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be DoD.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Candidate will also need strong organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS :

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting IT asset lifecycle management for multiple programs. Tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Provide logistics support for all program assets in order to address and meet the lifecycle sustainment requirements of the program office.
  • Develop logistics and product support sections for Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS)
  • Track, update and validate all hardware and software assets for entire lifecycle disposition.
  • Review all program Asset Management/Product Support sections of Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Contract Data Requirement Listings (CDRLs) and Technical Manuals (TMs) to provide direct logistics support for assets accountability and sustainment plan.
  • Research all discrepancies and inconsistencies to ensure all assigned assets are recorded and accounted for.
  • Track, Update, and Validate all hardware and software assets for entire lifecycle disposition.
  • Regularly cross check program requirements and assess 3400 sustainment funding.
  • Update life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) throughout the year.
  • Execute obsolescence management of all deployed assets for the weapon system and plan tech refresh strategies as required.
