Organizational Effectiveness & Change Strategist

The Opportunity:

The Organizational Effectiveness and Change Strategist partners with clients to navigate complex organizational challenges and strengthen overall workforce performance. You will clarify strategic priorities, assesses organizational effectiveness, and design integrated solutions that align people, processes, structure, technology, and culture. You'll conduct stakeholder assessments, analyze organizational roles and responsibilities, and evaluate change readiness to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Grounded in proven change management and organizational effectiveness methodologies, you will apply both qualitative and quantitative analysis to diagnose issues, evaluate stakeholder impacts, and produce actionable recommendations. Working with limited supervision, you'll support enterprise transformation efforts, lead change execution activities, and occasionally mentor junior team members.

As an Organizational Effectiveness and Change Strategist, you will help clients improve performance by strengthening organizational clarity, alignment, and stakeholder engagement. You'll lead activities such as stakeholder assessments, roles and responsibilities development, change impact analysis, and organizational readiness evaluations to identify gaps, surface risks, and recommend targeted improvements.

You will design and execute change strategies that enable leaders and teams to adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working. This includes developing communications and training materials, preparing sponsors for their roles in change, and facilitating workshops or working sessions that clarify decisionmaking, workflows, and accountability.

You'll measure the effectiveness of organizational interventions, monitor risks and resistance, and adjust approaches to improve adoption and sustainment. Operating with limited supervision, you will bring adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to a fastpaced environment by helping clients achieve clearer structures, stronger stakeholder alignment, and lasting missiondriven results.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in human capital, organizational effectiveness, talent management, workforce development, or strategic planning
  • 3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative and qualitative organizational data
  • Experience applying change management principles to readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, and change impact assessments
  • Experience developing or supporting change strategies for enterpriselevel initiatives, communications plans, and implementation roadmaps
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, or leadership discussions
  • Experience with organizational culture, program assessment, and developing datadriven recommendations for organizational improvement
  • Experience designing and conducting interviews, focus groups, and surveys
  • Ability to produce highquality deliverables using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment, including work in an advising environment
  • Experience supporting federal agencies, national defense organizations, or defenseoriented government programs
  • Experience with organizational design, alignment, culture initiatives, or transformation programs
  • Experience supporting technologyfocused change initiatives, including digital transformation
  • Possession of strong communication and facilitation skills to engage sponsors, stakeholders, and crossfunctional teams
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources Management, Human Capital Management, or Business Administration
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or a Change Management, Human Capital Strategy, or Organizational Development certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
