The mission of the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media is to prepare students to ignite the public conversation in our state, the nation and the world, and to understand the role of communication in fostering democracy. The school offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and administers a variety of professional development and distance-learning programs. Enrollment includes about 1,000 undergraduates and 125 graduate students in addition to professional development and distance education students. This position may be eligible for hybrid and/or remote work schedule. Employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

A part-time temporary Production Coordinator will oversee the production of 1-4, 30-minutes sports documentaries highlighting the accomplishments of various athletics teams on campus. This includes oversight of all field production elements, including shooting, writing, and editing.

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Professional media and broadcast experience.
