Role Summary

The Rivian Creative Studio is looking for a driven and highly organized Creative Project Manager to spearhead the execution of our mid- and lower-funnel marketing campaigns and related creative production efforts. This role is crucial for maximizing efficiency and velocity across projects focused on conversion, retention, and community engagement.

You will be a key operational owner, managing the end-to-end creative lifecycle for integrated marketing campaigns-from initial brief development to final asset delivery. This includes managing digital asset production (email, paid media) and the associated photo and video production schedules needed for those campaigns. This position requires a facility with cross-functional campaign management and experience working closely with those producing and making the associated campaign photo, video, and design assets.


Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Ownership: Manage the complete creative process for multiple concurrent marketing campaigns, especially focused on how these campaigns are delivered to middle- and lower- funnel cross functional partners.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between the Creative Studio and partner teams, including Product Go-to-Market, Engineering, Vehicle Design and Legal/Compliance.
  • Production Planning: Liaise with Creative Studio Production team to ensure the operational planning and scheduling for photo and video shoots support mid/lower funnel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment between production needs and marketing timelines.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, proactively communicating milestones, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential roadblocks (e.g., legal constraints, technical dependencies, delayed inputs) and actively develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Asset Handoff: Manage the workflow for asset processing, selection, tagging, and final delivery from the photo/video production teams to the designers and channel owners.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in creative project management, integrated production, or creative operations, specifically within an in-house creative department or agency environment.
  • Expertise in Integrated Production: Proven track record managing creative production for both digital performance channels (email/paid media) AND photo/video production/post-production workflows.
  • Project Management Tools: Expert proficiency with project management tools for complex workflow management and reporting.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate project status and technical requirements to both creative teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Process Acumen: Deep understanding of the full creative lifecycle, from concepting and ideation through final deployment and archiving.
  • Drive: Highly proactive, self-motivated, and capable of driving multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Basic familiarity with viewing design files (e.g., in Figma or Creative Cloud) to facilitate accurate communication between designers and developers preferred (no design skills required, just navigational competence).
  • Basic comprehension of how finalized creative assets are integrated by web development teams preferred (e.g., understanding ticket structures in Jira or Agile methodologies).

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $98,500 to $123,100 for Irvine, California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
