Prototek is hiring a CNC Operations Manager to lead our machining team, drive efficiency, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Run day-to-day CNC operations across 3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe machining Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and machinists Own production schedules and ensure on-time delivery Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Partner with leadership to optimize workflow, staffing, and performance Build a strong safety-first culture on the shop floor REQUIREMENTS: (Preferred too) 5-10+ years of manufacturing or production management experience 5+ years of CNC machining and/or programming experience (3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe) Strong knowledge of high-tolerance machining and GD&T Experience leading teams in a fast-paced machining or job shop environment Familiarity with ERP systems (MIE Trak preferred) and Microsoft Office Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills Degree in Manufacturing, Machining, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) WHAT PROTOTEK OFFERS: Health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance Company paid life and long-term disability insurance 9 paid Holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) match: 100% of 3% and 50% for 4% and 5% Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible Schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (PTO) starting at 80 hours with annual increase for each year of service WORK AUTHORIZATION WORDING Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements - Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
