As Sr. Business Process Analyst I, your primary responsibility will be to develop good relationships with all your customers in order to better understand their requirements. Once you have identified those requirements you will then be responsible to work hand in hand with the developers in support of the changes that will need to be made to their particular application. Our customer responsibility is to maintain and modernize over 35 applications and your customer relationships will have a tremendous effect on our teams mission success.

What you'll do:



  • You'll work with a highly qualified technical team.
  • You'll also provide daily interface with the customer.
  • You will interface frequently with customers to gain complete understanding of their requirements.
  • You will translate those requirements into stories to ensure developers understand
  • You will conduct testing as required


What you'll need to succeed:



  • Excellent writing and communications skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholder groups in an agile software development environment
  • 5 years of experience with Jira writing clear, concise user story descriptions and acceptance criteria derived from customer requirements
  • 5 years of experience using Confluence for knowledge management
  • 5 years of experience mapping and optimizing business processes for maximum efficiency
  • 5 years of experience serving as a point of contact for both customers and members of an agile software development team
  • 5 years experience in analytics and systems development
  • 5 years of experience in developing, refining and documenting system requirements
  • 5 years of experience in providing business analysis to federal customers
  • A BA/BS or education/certifications commensurate with education
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance


SALARY RANGE: $120,000.00 - $152,000.00

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:



  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:


    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
