Head of Portfolio Management Technology

SEI is seeking a Head of Portfolio Management Technology, a senior leadership role within our global product organization.

This role is accountable for the endtoend strategy, delivery, and outcomes of SEI's Portfolio Management Technology product family-including trading and rebalancing, order management systems, portfolio construction, and UMH/UMA capabilities.

As the owner of this critical product suite, you will lead full product ideation, validation, requirements definition, execution, and measurement-ensuring solutions deliver differentiated client value while advancing SEI's strategic goals. You will serve as the external and internal face of the portfolio management technology platform, telling the SEI story to clients, prospects, and industry audiences, while partnering across product families to drive alignment, prioritization, and shared outcomes.

This role requires a strategic, executionoriented product leader who thrives at the intersection of investment technology, data, AIenabled delivery, and enterprise scale. What you will do:

Portfolio Management Product Leadership

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SEI's Portfolio Management Technology product family, spanning trading and rebalancing, order management, portfolio construction, and UMH/UMA solutions.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle-from ideation and validation through requirements, delivery, and postlaunch measurement-ensuring alignment to client needs and business outcomes.
  • Define clear value propositions, success metrics, and KPIs to measure product performance, adoption, and impact.

AIEnabled Delivery & Innovation

  • Leverage AI tools and techniques across the SDLC to accelerate discovery, enable rapid prototyping, automate workflows, and improve delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Champion experimentation, proofofconcepts, and datadriven decisionmaking to move ideas quickly from concept to execution.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends that can materially enhance SEI's portfolio management capabilities.

CrossProduct & Enterprise Collaboration

  • Work closely with leaders across other product families to manage dependencies, align roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives against shared enterprise goals.
  • Partner with engineering, data, UX, operations, risk, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and operationally sound.
  • Influence investment decisions and sequencing through a deep understanding of tradeoffs, opportunity cost, and enterprise impact.

Client, Market & Industry Leadership

  • Serve as the face of SEI's Portfolio Management Technology suite for client engagements, prospect discussions, conferences, and industry events.
  • Articulate a compelling SEI narrative that connects product capabilities to client outcomes and industry challenges.
  • Engage directly with clients and advisors to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and inform product evolution.

Roadmap Ownership & Financial Accountability

  • Own not only the product roadmap but the total cost of ownership for the portfolio management technology family, balancing innovation, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure investments are aligned to strategic goals, measurable outcomes, and longterm platform sustainability.
  • Continuously assess build, buy, and partner decisions to optimize value delivery.

Measurement, Outcomes & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and maintain a rigorous measurement framework that tracks product performance, client value, and operational effectiveness.
  • Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement, inform prioritization, and adjust strategy as market and client needs evolve.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and outcomebased delivery.

What we need from you:

  • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex technology or platform products, with significant responsibility for portfoliolevel outcomes.
  • Deep domain expertise in portfolio management technology, including trading and rebalancing, order management systems, portfolio construction, and managed account structures (UMH/UMA).
  • Experience applying AI and automation tools across product discovery, delivery, and operations.
  • Proven ability to lead crossfunctional, multistakeholder initiatives and drive alignment across product families.
  • Strong financial acumen, including ownership of budgets, investment tradeoffs, and total cost of ownership.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with credibility in client and industryfacing settings.

This team follows a hybrid work schedule and works 3 days in the office (Tuesday - Thursday).
