As a Security Officer - HOA Gatehouse in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a premier private club location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help discourage security-related incidents while reflecting Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control duties, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document security-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as assigned, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
