Your role

As a Buyer/Sr. Buyer, your mission is toefficiently procure materials and services that support manufacturing schedules while ensuring costeffective purchasing in accordance with sourcing policies and procedures. You will play a key role in highvolume purchasing execution and supplier coordination within the Purchasing organization. You will report to the Sourcing Team Leader.

You will



  • Place and manage purchase orders for assigned commodities and departments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with sourcing policies
  • Support manufacturing schedules by purchasing materials and services in a costeffective and efficient manner
  • Utilize SAP ERP and eSourcing tools to process purchase data, track orders, and provide delivery feedback
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with internal teams while maintaining clear, professional communication with suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance related to delivery and execution, escalating issues as needed
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Comply with all safety rules, regulations, and OSHA requirements

You have 2+ years of experience, working in sourcing, purchasing, or a related business function



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a technical/manufacturing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our manufacturing site and office in Voorheesville, United States (US).
