*Description*
The Vice President, Information Security is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy across all company's locations, ensuring the protection of corporate assets and alignment with client security requirements. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the internal information security program while integrating client-specific security frameworks into operational delivery. The VP provides executive leadership for incident response, client and regulatory security assessments, and broader cybersecurity advisory engagements. Partnering closely with Human Resources, Sales, and Client Services, this role ensures security is embedded into business processes and client solutions, enabling compliance, risk mitigation, and trusted service delivery. Main Duties and Responsibilities * Define, lead, and continuously evolve the enterprise information security strategy to protect organizational assets and support business objectives across all company's locations. * Establish and oversee a comprehensive cybersecurity program, including governance, risk management, compliance, security operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Provide executive leadership for incident response, including investigation of security incidents, network intrusions, and cyber breaches; ensure effective containment, root cause analysis, and remediation. * Develop, implement, and maintain incident response plans and procedures for both internal operations and client environments. * Lead and develop a high-performing information security organization, including direct management of Information Security Analysts and dotted-line oversight of Site Security Coordinators to ensure consistent policy adherence across all locations. Foster a culture of security awareness and accountability through enterprise-wide education programs and required annual training for all employees. * Direct client-facing security engagements, including assessments of client security programs, development of strategic and prioritized recommendations, and advisory support for regulatory inquiries, investigations, and incident response. * Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, presentations, and briefings related to cybersecurity posture, client engagements, and emerging threats. * Partner with Sales and Client Services to integrate security into client solutions, support compliance with customer guidelines, and position security as a competitive differentiator. * Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and industry standards, including PCI, HIPAA, GLBA, TCPA, FDCPA, and Sarbanes-Oxley; lead internal and external audits and client assessments. * Interface directly with clients to manage and demonstrate adherence to security and privacy requirements. * Oversee third-party and vendor risk management, including evaluation of security and privacy practices, contract review, and ongoing risk monitoring. * Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, hardening procedures, and operational practices across servers, endpoints, mobile devices, and network infrastructure. * Support the continuous design and enhancement of a secure global infrastructure to protect company systems, data, and client environments from evolving threats. * Maintain deep awareness of cyber threat actors, attack methodologies, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies; represent the organization in technical forums, working groups, and industry discussions. * Oversee physical security assessments of company facilities and ensure alignment with corporate security policies and standards. * Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and the Board on security posture, risks, incidents, and program maturity. * Manage the information security budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources aligned to strategic priorities. * Perform additional duties as required to support the evolving security needs of the organization and its clients. * Comply with all established policies (General, Security of Information, Compliance) and standards of conduct established by client. * Other responsibilities or duties as assigned by direct supervisor. Job Description Qualifications * Extensive expertise in enterprise information security, risk management, and cybersecurity operations within complex, data-intensive business environments. * Demonstrated success leading incident response, cyber investigations, and forensic analysis programs, including management of high-severity security events. * Significant knowledge of cyber threat actors, attack methodologies, emerging vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. * Deep technical understanding of information security technologies, networking, infrastructure security, and network architecture. * Strong knowledge of compliance and assurance frameworks, including PCI-DSS and SOC audit requirements, with practical experience overseeing related programs. * Ability to assess client security programs and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen security posture, risk mitigation, and regulatory alignment. * Global perspective on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity trends, including awareness of evolving international regulatory expectations. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive briefings, client-facing reports, and technical presentations. * Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, perform effectively under pressure, and make sound decisions in high-stakes situations. * Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across technical and business functions. * High degree of professional judgment, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information. Education / Experience / Credentials * 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, cybersecurity, or information risk management roles. * 5+ years of experience providing information security or information risk management consulting services preferred. * 5+ years of experience within a professional services organization, such as a BPO, accounting firm, or similarly data-intensive operation preferred. * Demonstrated experience overseeing a PCI Level 3 compliance program required. * Experience leading or overseeing SOC audit readiness, execution, and remediation activities required. * Significant experience managing incident response, computer investigations, or digital forensics programs required. * Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred. * Current industry-recognized security certifications preferred, including: o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) o Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) o Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) o Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
