Role Overview:

The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for relying on data to propose new growth options for Nachurs Alpine Solutions (NAS) via market research and strategy development, including identifying new growth markets for our existing products and identifying new, adjacent technologies, or technology platforms.The Strategic Marketing Manager will work with Business Leaders to develop growth plans and work to actualize the goals.

A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role:

  • Perform rigorous analytics to assure best growth options to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Identify and research new growth markets for existing products and propose new adjacent technologies or technology platforms for growth for NAS.
  • Conduct market research deep dives to evaluate opportunity size, value chain dynamics, key players, and customer needs.
  • Develop plans to execute new growth plans.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and business unit leaders to pressure test ideas and actualize growth plans.
  • Develop lists of potential customer leads for growth area and manage processes to track progress in validating and closing.
  • Work with internal marketing group to develop content for needed marketing collateral to further sales.
  • Prepare return on investment analyses and supporting assumptions to inform decision making across strategic alternatives.
  • Prepare market share maps and keep up to date on competitive landscape specifically in relation to launching new products and positioning.
  • Assist Business Unit leaders in developing robust Business Unit strategies supporting the industrial and agriculture businesses.
  • Gather and analyze data to support growth and strategic planning efforts.

What You Bring to this Role:

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing research or product development in a chemical or agriculture business
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and analytical thinking capabilities
  • Strong capability in synthesizing insights into polished, impactful presentations addressing strategic growth opportunities
  • Familiarity with light coding or ongoing maintenance in Power BI or Tableau is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, chemical engineering or agronomy

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $104,900 - $146,920. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
