Category Administration Description The Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) is currently seeking talented candidates for a Business Development Administrative Assistant at our Silver Springs, NV location. At NATC, the business development administrative assistant will complete tasks that support the business development department and the engineers who design, manufacture, and test innovative automotive mobility solutions. Founded in 1957, the Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) is a privately owned, independent test, evaluation, design and engineering facility offering development and certification testing to customers worldwide. NATC's location in the great basin of Nevada allows our team to access terrain that can represent 85% of the world within a 150-mile radius, providing an excellent test bed for off-road mobility. NATC's operational area includes 1200 sq. miles of natural terrain, that when coupled with 6,200 acres of privately owned test courses, create an unparalleled testing area available to our engineers to innovate and solve our customer's problems. NATC has completed thousands of test programs as a one-stop shop for automotive development. POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Development Administrative Assistant, in direct report to the Business Development Manager, is responsible for maintaining the front desk and representing NATC as visitors check in. They will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking data that ensures NATC's engineering services meet the needs and expectations of current and potential customers. The business development administrative assistant tracks and monitors timely responses to solicitation requests and requests for proposals (RFP). The business development administrative assistant is responsible for reviewing cold call status for timely responses to our customer base, while trending with the corporate goals of NATC's engineering, operations, and accounting branches. Strong analytical skills, business savvy, and the ability to multitask are essential. The business development administrative assistant should be personable and comfortable presenting ideas to the team. The business development administrative assistant should be a detailed thinker. Experience using database tracking, is required, combined with a desire to track trends, research, and provide examples of data. Excellent writing skills, Excel knowledge and the ability to connect with key influencers is an important aspect of the job. The business development administrative assistant tracks and distributes incoming proposal requests and solicitations. To ensure customer satisfaction, they must track responses to requests for proposals in a timely and appropriate manner. In addition, the business development administrative assistant continuously monitors submission requests and analytics to see what types of business would be of interest to our customers and proposes investments and returns on investments accordingly. The business development team is responsible for monitoring the front office. This may include tasks such as answering the phone, checking in guests, and directing questions in addition to normal duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Physical Demands: This is primarily an office position, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. However, this position also requires walking on uneven ground and climbing stairs. Work Environment: Work is regularly performed on-site in Silver Springs, Nevada, in a combination of office, outdoor, and shop environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time salaried position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, the position requires overnight on-call duty and the ability to work during non-standard hours when the need arises. Travel: Travel is expected for this position.
