Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior MS&A Engineer to support the Government in advancing modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities across the NGA enterprise. In this role, you will drive the development and application of models and analytical tools to support mission stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions that ensure timely and accurate GEOINT delivery.

Key Responsibilities
    Lead and support modeling, simulation, and analysis activities for NGA mission and business stakeholders, analysts, and warfighters
  • Develop and apply complex models, algorithms, and tools to identify trends and patterns across large-scale datasets
  • Model system architectures, requirements, and performance while aligning with NGA and NSG strategic direction
  • Conduct analysis of alternatives (AoA), performance trades, and design trades to inform capability development and deployment decisions
  • Support MS&A efforts across existing NSG architectures and cloud-based environments
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level MS&A Engineers

Location: This position is fully onsite in Chantilly, VA



Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
    • (Additional experience may be substituted: 4 years in lieu of degree, or 2 years with a non-STEM degree)
  • 12+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis within large, complex systems-of-systems or service-oriented architecture environments
  • Experience working across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid infrastructures
  • Experience developing and utilizing tools in cloud environments
  • Previous program or project experience with National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) or within the NSG/ASG environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant STEM discipline
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and applications
  • Background in Operations Research
  • Experience performing MS&A using cloud-based technologies
  • Experience analyzing structured and unstructured Big Data
  • Experience applying automation, augmentation, and artificial intelligence to analytical solutions

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
