Join us as our next Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to our Engineering & Maintenance Manager. You will manage and help complete the daily activities involving the maintenance of the facility, equipment and machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, shop equipment, production lines, grounds keeping, security systems and overall facility appearance. Supervise and coordinate the work of employees who repair and maintain the building/facility, equipment and machinery.

Salary expectation based on technical experience 90,000.00 - 115,000 usd

In this exciting role you will work with

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy design and execution

  • Provide input to the local Maintenance plan and related goals with regards to e.g. production

    capacity, schedule of critical maintenance activities, changes in equipment, spare parts inventory.

  • Implement functional strategies locally through deployment of operational plans.

Function management

  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians which executes maintenance activities of the facility and processing equipment

  • Develop and apply preventive maintenance plans and maintenance support to improve reliability of plant equipment and prevent business disruption.

  • Provide input to the definition of maintenance budgets based on maintenance requirements i.e. resources, materials, duration within assigned area of activity.

  • Conduct audits/inspections to ensure compliance of installations of equipment and users with EHS and Quality policies.

  • Identify, recommend and deploy improvements whether to correct non-compliant situations or increase productivity.

  • Improve stock of spare parts and disposal of obsolete materials.

  • Coordinate site CMMS application including creation, dispatching, closure and inspection of corrective and preventive maintenance work orders

  • Coordinate work of contractors, monitor their performance and escalate issues to the E&M management and Procurement for resolution.

  • Provide support to engineering projects regarding operative procedures and equipment/installation trials.

People management

  • Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes for the local Maintenance team and validate related results.

  • Work with local Operations and E&M management teams and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline for the function.

  • Guide the development and promotion of talents within and outside the function.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in industrialization and engineering projects with focus on maintenance activities.

  • Good knowledge and application of main maintenance value drivers.

  • Good knowledge and application of project management techniques.

  • Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.

  • Knowledge CMMS implementation, work order dispatching and execution

  • Basics of Preventive Maintenance methods and coordination

  • Basics of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools

  • Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean Six-Sigma, 5S.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma in Engineering or related discipline (pre-university level).

  • 8+ years in manufacturing maintenance or plant operations

  • 5+ years of experience in people management

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with CMMS and SAP

  • Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification

  • Experience in food and beverage manufacturing

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
