About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Slack Growth Marketing team operates one of the most successful Product-Led Growth (PLG) engines in software, fueling one of the largest and most dynamic self-serve funnels in B2B SaaS. Now, we are pushing the boundaries of what's possible by building the industry's most advanced, AI-driven, multi-channel lifecycle engine. We are looking for a Senior Lifecycle Automation Manager to help pioneer this next frontier.

This is a unique builder's mandate at global scale. We are looking for an A-player who is inherently curious, highly technical, and ready to leverage AI, predictive scoring, and Agentforce to architect autonomous growth loops. In this role, you are empowered to act as a strategic owner-expected to independently dive into product telemetry, discover net-new expansion opportunities, and directly drive material business impact for Slack's Self-Serve motion. If you love pioneering behavior-based triggers and leveraging complex data architecture to scale a world-class user journey, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities & Impact

  • Independent Revenue Ownership: Proactively dive into product telemetry and user data to discover, design, and execute multi-channel strategies that drive measurable Self-Serve ACV, NNAOV, and retention. You own the business outcome, not just the campaign execution.

  • AI-Driven Automation & Agents: Aggressively identify and eliminate manual marketing workflows. Leverage AI tools and Agentforce to automate campaign localization, A/B test analysis, and routine reporting.

  • Advanced Audience Building: Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and native AI to build complex, dynamic audience lists and segmentation. Move the team away from static targeting to predictive, hyper-personalized cohorts.

  • Multi-Channel Orchestration: Design and execute behavior-triggered journeys across a modern Customer Engagement Platform (Email, Push Notification, In-App Messaging), shifting our dependency away from manual engineering sprints to marketer-led automation.

  • Predictive PLG Interventions: Partner with Data Science to pipe predictive AI scoring (e.g., MadKudu) and verified web data directly into our automation platforms to identify high-intent upgrade cohorts (PQLs) and at-risk churn segments before the user acts.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Marketing Ops, Product Management, and Data Science to define the technical requirements needed to scale our lifecycle infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • Experience: 5-7 years of lifecycle automation, growth engineering, or highly technical marketing operations in a B2B SaaS/PLG environment.

  • The Technical Bar: Must be highly technical, naturally curious, and comfortable operating at the intersection of marketing, data science, and AI.

  • AI & SFMC Fluency: Proven track record of leveraging AI tools and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to automate marketing processes, segment complex audiences, and generate predictive insights.

  • Independent Execution: Demonstrated ability to independently source and drive material business results (ACV/Revenue/MAU) without relying on prescriptive, top-down execution briefs.

  • PLG Expertise: Deep understanding of product-led growth principles and experience in leveraging product signals to drive customer acquisition, activation, and seat expansion.

  • Multi-Channel Marketing: Demonstrated experience planning and executing automated programs across Email, Mobile Push, and In-App messaging.

  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced analytical skills including complex A/B testing, cohort analysis, conversion rate optimization, and familiarity with unified event architecture.

  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with peers and senior leaders, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

  • BA/BS degree

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with predictive scoring models (e.g., MadKudu) and identity resolution frameworks.
  • Advanced SQL or similar data querying capabilities.
  • Experience evaluating, migrating, or integrating modern Customer Engagement Platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable).
  • Expertise working in high-velocity self-service growth businesses.
