RN - Surgery (OR) - Night Shift - La Jolla

This is a full-time, benefited 12-hour night shift OR RN position located in our brand new tower at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Our OR department features 16 operating rooms, including 4 open-heart suites, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 robotic rooms, 1 eye room, and a dedicated trauma team. We perform 40-50 surgeries daily, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and professional development.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications - External

Required

• * California Registered Nurse License
• One year of RN experience circulating in the Operating Room
• * Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
• * Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• * Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
• * Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred

• * Bachelor's degree in nursing
• * Experience in general, robotics, trauma, orthopedic and gynecological surgeries
• * Trauma experience
• * CNOR
