TheInventory ControlSupervisor reports to the Inventory Associate Manager and isresponsibleforprovidingday to day guidanceand support tothe Distribution Center inventory teamto meet or exceed goals and ensuring policies and practices are executed consistently. Toperformthisjob successfully, anindividualmustbeabletoperformeachessentialdutyand responsibility withorwithoutreasonableaccommodations.This includes:

  • Supervisingemployees in accordance with the organizations policies, practices, and applicable law.

  • Performing othersupervisoryresponsibilities whichincludebutare notlimitedto:interviewing, hiring, andtraining employees;planning, assigning,anddirectingwork;appraisingperformance;rewardinganddiscipliningemployees; addressing complaintsandresolvingproblems.
  • Providingdirection and guidance to distribution center inventory team

  • Ensuringconsistency inexecution of policies,processes and practices

  • Oversees programs and processes such as cycle counting, transfer of product between facilities, product problems and resolution, inventory balances and adjustments, book audits,and invoicing

  • Coordinates activities with other departments as needed

  • Serveas the main point of contact forcorporate inquiries,customers, andvendors

  • Other projects or tasks as assigned by your manager

  • Threeormoreyearof experience in aninventory or operationalleadership role

  • Bachelor'sdegreepreferred

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ableto collaboratewith staffat all levels and locations,customers, and vendors.

  • Skilledatcreatingandmaintainingfunctionalandcross-functionalpartnerships.

  • Strongwritingskills.Abletowritereportsandcorrespondences.

  • Strongreadingskills.Abletoreadandinterpretdocumentssuchasshippingdocuments,billsof lading, reports, safetyrules/procedures, operatingandmaintenanceinstructions.

  • Strongoralcommunicationskills.Abletospeakeffectivelybeforegroups of employees,managementcustomers,executives andothercorporate partners.

  • Stronganalytical andreasoningskills.Ableto analyzeandinterpretreports,graphs, andother data.

  • Strongmathematicskills-abilitytocalculatefiguressuch aspercentages,volume, cost,time.

  • Experienceworkingin awarehouseorlogisticsenvironmentpreferred
