Responsibilities

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Assistant Director - Business Office.

The Assistant Director - Business Office will assist the Director - Business Office in managing the department staff, Insurance Verification, Billing, and Collection processes. Maintains follow-up and collection activity including letters, telephone and personal contact with insurance companies, third party payers and patients. Assists the Business Office Director with additional AR management tasks and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a business office or finance role, preferrably in Healthcare

Specialized skills and knowledge required:

  • Managerial Experience
  • Claim/Billing Knowledge
  • Insurance Verification Knowledge
