Global Commercial Data & Analytics Manager

The Global Commercial Data & Analytics owns the customer, product, industry and commercial data foundations that underpin net sales, volume, pricing, margin, and performance decisionmaking across the business.

This role ensures leaders operate from a single, consistent, and trusted view of customers, products, and commercial performance across reporting, analytics, and selfservice tools.

This is a highimpact, handson role for someone who enjoys turning complex, fragmented data into clarity. You will directly build, maintain, and evolve the commercial data foundations used by leaders worldwide, enabling more confident decisions on pricing, margin, customers, and product strategy.

Sitting at the intersection of finance, marketing, operations, analytics, and enterprise data initiatives, the role translates business logic into clean, governed, and usable commercial datasets.

What will you do:

Customer & Product Data Foundations

  • Build and maintain consistent customer master structures
  • Define, document, and manage product hierarchies and classification logic
  • Coordinate across teams and stakeholders to route issues, establish ownership, and drive resolution
  • Execute higher-risk data corrections, ensuring accuracy, and governance compliance
  • Resolve duplicates, inconsistencies, and misalignments across SAP, NHBA, OneStream, and reporting layers
  • Enrich commercial datasets with businessrelevant customer and product attributes to support analysis, segmentation, and decisionmaking
  • Work closely with the Corporate Customer Master Data team and ensure alignment with enterprise customer and product data standards

Commercial Data Modeling

  • Design standardized datasets for:
    • Revenue and margin analysis
    • Pricing and discounting
    • Customer and product segmentation
  • Ensure consistent definitions across Power BI, ThoughtSpot, and management reporting

Segmentation & Classification

  • Develop and maintain customer, product, and industry segmentation logic
  • Apply primarily rulebased approaches, with selective use of clustering where businessrelevant
  • Ensure segmentation is applied consistently across dashboards and selfservice analytics

Analytics Enablement

  • Build and maintain certified, trusted datasets used across the organization
  • Enable business users with stable, wellstructured commercial data
  • Act as the owner of the single version of truth for commercial analytics

Data Quality & Reconciliation

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between operational, financial, and reporting data
  • Act as the first point of triage when conflicting numbers arise
  • Maintain clear documentation of data logic, mappings, and KPI definitions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 8 years of experience in analytics or dataoriented role
  • 5 years of SQL skills (data extraction, transformation, and validation)
  • 5years of experience with Power BI
  • 3 years of experience Master Data Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in manufacturing or industrial companies with complex, ERPdriven data environments (products, customers, geographies, plants, assets, and cost structures)
  • Experience using data transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx) to automate data cleaning, validation, and repeatable logic
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate crossfunctional teams without direct authority
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, exercise judgment, and drive issues to resolution
  • Demonstrated comfort working with ambiguity, including nonstandard or highrisk data scenarios
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for analysis and reporting
  • Strong understanding of business processes and their upstream and downstream data impacts
  • Experience working with large, transactional datasets

Experience with ThoughtSpot or similar selfservice analytics platforms

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $120,500.00 - $180,700.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
