Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist with specialized training in clinical neuropsychology, provides direct patient care by administering and scoring psychological tests. Supports the psychological testing process as needed. Supports neuropsychologists in the prior-authorization process. Prepares patient folders and data sheets for reports; orders and maintains psychological test supplies. Manages the neuropsychology clinical database, entering patient information and providing reports as needed. Scans neuropsychology charts for electronic storage. Key Responsibilities: * Prepares paperwork for prior insurance authorization, including clinical data important for establishing medical necessity for neuropsychological assessment.
Education: Bachelor's Degree is required. Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely related field is preferred. Experience: 1+ year experience in aquaculture environment is required. Licensure/ Certifications: AALAS level certification or working to obtain AALAS certification is preferred. The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
