Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivatedSeniorDigital Electrical Engineeras a hands-on individual contributor, one that is ready to expand their technical knowledge working on complex system designs. As a Senior Digital Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams designing, developing, and verifying digital circuit boards for use in our complex imaging systems. These applications include multi-processor/FPGA boards, battery powered and low power electronics,Image processingand many other areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working closing with Product management and business development to help define our products.
- Translates project and system requirements into well-defined hardware designs and boards
- Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams from Product, Software, Mechanical and Systems Engineering.
- Hands-on debug and testing of prototypes and deliverable hardware.
- Release documentation into production for manufacturing
- Supporting product introduction into production.
- Solving complex problems and finding solutions with limited direction - contributes to requirements development, proposes ways forward, and adapts appropriately to changes in requirements.
- Able to manage a task with multiple cross functional members and effectively communicates status to project leadership and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years experienceof board design.
- High-speed digital designexperience and knowledge ofembedded processorsand interfaces such as PCIe, DDR3/DDR4 memories, Ethernet, 1553, SERDES, Aurora, UARTS, MIPI, etc.
- FPGA board designexperience, including AMD Xilinx devices such asArtix/Kintex 7/Ultrascalefamilies,Zynq7000 and Zynq MPSoC Ultrascale designs.
- Ability to write detailed design specifications.
- Experienceintegrating and debugging systemsin the lab
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Thorough understanding of engineering theories and procedures.
Preferred:
- Experience inAltium Schematic and Layout Tools.
- Experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGA/SOC design flow tools is a plus.
