Job Description:

We are seeking a self-motivatedSeniorDigital Electrical Engineeras a hands-on individual contributor, one that is ready to expand their technical knowledge working on complex system designs. As a Senior Digital Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams designing, developing, and verifying digital circuit boards for use in our complex imaging systems. These applications include multi-processor/FPGA boards, battery powered and low power electronics,Image processingand many other areas.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closing with Product management and business development to help define our products.
  • Translates project and system requirements into well-defined hardware designs and boards
  • Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams from Product, Software, Mechanical and Systems Engineering.
  • Hands-on debug and testing of prototypes and deliverable hardware.
  • Release documentation into production for manufacturing
  • Supporting product introduction into production.
  • Solving complex problems and finding solutions with limited direction - contributes to requirements development, proposes ways forward, and adapts appropriately to changes in requirements.
  • Able to manage a task with multiple cross functional members and effectively communicates status to project leadership and customers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years experienceof board design.
  • High-speed digital designexperience and knowledge ofembedded processorsand interfaces such as PCIe, DDR3/DDR4 memories, Ethernet, 1553, SERDES, Aurora, UARTS, MIPI, etc.
  • FPGA board designexperience, including AMD Xilinx devices such asArtix/Kintex 7/Ultrascalefamilies,Zynq7000 and Zynq MPSoC Ultrascale designs.
  • Ability to write detailed design specifications.
  • Experienceintegrating and debugging systemsin the lab
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering theories and procedures.

Preferred:

  • Experience inAltium Schematic and Layout Tools.
  • Experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGA/SOC design flow tools is a plus.
