Description

Markon is seeking a Front Office Operations Intern to support daily office operations and administrative functions at our Falls Church, Virginia headquarters. This temporary summer internship provides hands-on experience supporting business operations, office coordination, and corporate administration within a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. The role is fully onsite, five days per week, with flexible schedules ranging from 20-40 hours per week based on candidate availability. The intern will work closely with internal stakeholders across recruiting, marketing, HR, security, IT, growth, and leadership support functions.



Responsibilities

    Welcome guests, candidates, and visitors while maintaining a professional office environment
  • Support front office coverage, office organization, and administrative coordination
  • Coordinate vendors for office repairs, maintenance, and deliveries
  • Assist with conference room scheduling, meeting setup, and office logistics
  • Help coordinate internal events, team activities, and office communications
  • Maintain office supplies, inventory, and shared workspace organization
  • Assist with data entry, document preparation, filing, and reporting tasks
  • Provide operational and administrative support to internal teams and special projects
  • Help maintain a professional, collaborative, and organized office environment
  • Support day-to-day business operations as needed


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support a variety of team needs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite five days per week during the internship period
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional office environment
  • U.S. citizenship required.


Salary Range

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
