Summary
Own the strategy, sourcing execution, contracting, supplier performance, and stakeholder engagement for Indirect IT and Facilities categories (e.g., IT hardware & software, implementation professional services, telecom, IT services, cloud/SaaS, cybersecurity; facilities management services, real estate support services ie construction projects ). Deliver savings and value beyond price, ensure service continuity and performance, and strengthen policy compliance across the P2P lifecycle (Coupa + related tools).
This position is based in Libertyville,IL with an onsite requirement of 4 days in office weekly.
Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Planning
- Build and refresh multi year category strategies for IT and Facilities aligned to functional goals and enterprise policies.
- Segment spend (addressable vs non addressable), rationalize supplier bases where appropriate and define preferred suppliers, catalog programs, and sourcing channels.
- Partner with IT and Facilities leadership to understand demand roadmaps, technology or site plans, and upcoming investment priorities.
- Proactively identify cost, risk, and service improvement opportunities tied to infrastructure, service models, and asset lifecycles.
Sourcing & Contracting (S2C)
- Support RFx activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ), competitive events, and negotiations across IT and Facilities scopes; document award decisions and total cost models.
- Draft and execute contracts with Legal using the Global Contract Management framework, incorporating: pricing protections and indexation where applicable, service level agreements (SLAs) and performance KPIs and termination, data protection, audit, and security requirements.
- Ensure sourcing decisions align with category strategy, budget/AFE approvals, and enterprise risk posture.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Act as the primary procurement partner to IT, Facilities, Finance, and Global Operations for category strategy, sourcing plans, and supplier governance.
- Lead supplier performance reviews focused on service quality, uptime, responsiveness, innovation, and cost management.
- Support change management for new suppliers, tools, technologies, or service models, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder adoption.
- Coordinate with IT Security, Compliance, and Facilities leadership on risk, resilience, and supplier controls.
Governance, Compliance & Systems
- Drive compliance with Indirect Procurement policies, approval workflows, and preferred supplier usage.
- Ensure accurate category setup, contract visibility, and spend tracking within Coupa and related systems.
- Maintain documentation standards for sourcing decisions, contracts, and supplier performance.
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge
- Develop, maintain, and execute category strategies for assigned IT and Facilities spend areas, integrating cost, risk, supplier performance, and business demand considerations.
- Lead and support sourcing and contracting activities (RFx, negotiations, supplier selections, contract execution) for IT and Facilities services, equipment, software, and infrastructure-related spend.
- Analyze spend data, supplier proposals, and cost models to support fact based decision making and value delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with IT, Facilities, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Establish and manage supplier performance expectations, including service levels, KPIs, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Indirect Procurement policies, approval thresholds, and P2P processes, including proper usage of Coupa and contract management tools.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders and suppliers, including facilitating meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Identify and proactively manage supply, cost, service, and contractual risks within assigned categories.
- Support change management efforts related to new suppliers, technologies, service models, or sourcing approaches.
- Maintain accurate documentation for sourcing decisions, contracts, and supplier performance reviews.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential commercial, financial, and contractual information.

Education & Work Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 5-8 years of related experience
Education & Work Preferences
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting or contributing to sourcing and contracting efforts for IT and/or Facilities categories, such as hardware, software, managed services, or facilities services.
- Demonstrated exposure to RFx processes, contract reviews, and supplier negotiations in a structured procurement environment.
- Familiarity with supplier performance management concepts, service levels, and issue resolution frameworks.
- Experience operating within formal procurement policies, approval thresholds, and P2P systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP).
- Exposure to multi site or global organizations preferred.
- Experience with SAP - HANA S4

- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Bonus Plan.
