Job Description




As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service, while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related needs throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
  • Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, document daily activity, and/or communicate observations to management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support emergency response activities, assist with crowd and foot traffic monitoring, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and routine patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
