Patient Experience Representative (Hemodialysis)

In Hemodialysis the patient is connected to a large machine called a dialyzer that takes blood out of the body in a continuous process, cleans and filters it, and returns it to the patient's bloodstream.

• Provides positive and effective customer service to patients, families, and visitors
• Greets, screens, directs, and registers patients
• Schedules patient encounters, monitors daily schedules and coordinates flow to optimize patient experience
• Accurately collects, verifies, and records all patient demographic and insurance information.
• Complete medication prior authorizations
• Providing routine clerical support as needed to the transplant unit
• Accurately record dialysis statistics in excel
• Fax/upload records as required
• creating patient encounter in Epic
• Order and stock supplies and inventory
• Processing Engineering requests
• Generates patient labels and identification bracelets.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
