Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support our engineering and product management teams in delivering complex industrial machinery projects on time and within scope. This role is critical for maintaining seamless communication between internal teams, external manufacturers, and customers, while also driving consistency in documentation standards.

Primary Duties

  • Track Project Deliverables: Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and the team is informed of upcoming milestones.
  • Customer Updates: Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • PO Coordination: Works with Purchasing team to make sure the POs for third party purchases are sent out in a timely manner.
  • Lessons Learned: Capture the lessons learned on an ongoing basis and strive for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate witness inspection at supplier location with customers
  • Manufacturer Liaison: Maintain ongoing communication with our manufacturing partner to ensure they have all necessary documentation and support from engineering and product management to adhere to strict production schedules.
  • Progress Reporting: Collect and review weekly / monthly progress reports from the external manufacturers, and keep the project lead informed of any changes or risks.
  • Shipping Coordination: Assist the product manager in ensuring timely shipment of products from the ESAB Denton facility, preventing communication gaps and delays.
  • Documentation Standardization: Develop and implement standardized templates and processes for project documentation, ensuring consistency and compliance across all deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in project coordination or management within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with documentation control and process standardization.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and document management systems is a plus.
