Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will support the Clear Channel Outdoor Financial Planning & Analysis team with a strong focus on data analytics, reporting automation, and business intelligence. This role will play a key part in transforming large volumes of sales and financial data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across all 27 markets in the organization.

The Analyst will develop and maintain dashboards, build scalable reporting tools, and perform in-depth ad hoc analyses to support executive leadership at both the corporate office and local markets. In addition to supporting consolidated forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis, this individual will be expected to identify trends, analyze variances, and proactively surface insights that influence business performance.

Success in this role requires strong analytical and technical skills, comfort working with large datasets, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise reporting for senior leadership. While foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles is important, the ability to manipulate data, build reporting solutions, and independently drive analytical projects is critical.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, automate, and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and dashboards for business units and leadership
  • Ensure timely refresh and accuracy of Power BI dashboards; manage forecast uploads and reporting within Workday Financials
  • Leverage data analytics tools (including AI-enabled insights) to identify trends, anomalies, and performance drivers for market leadership
  • Perform in-depth revenue and expense analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Support company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting processes
  • Partner with functional leaders to integrate data into financial planning models and business forecasting exercises
  • Lead and execute ad hoc analyses and special projects to support strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives and process improvement efforts

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, or related analytical role

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience designing and building dashboards and automated reporting solutions (Power BI required; experience with Power Automate and Microsoft Report Builder preferred)
  • Preferable experience with Workday and Adaptive/Office Connect
  • Advanced Excel skills including data modeling, pivot tables, Power Query, and large dataset manipulation
  • Ability to synthesize and present complex financial and operational data in a clear, concise manner for executive leadership
  • Experience with corporate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; strong understanding of financial statements
  • Ability to identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities through data analysis
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments and present findings to senior leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

The Targeted Compensation Range for this New York position is:
Min: $77,000
Max: $90,000
Bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of the salary for this position.
