As a Security Guard Roving Patrol in Bedford Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a people-first mindset, teamwork, reliability, and integrity while helping create a dependable and professional experience throughout the site.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response protocols as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading dock areas, and perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers entering and leaving the location, and help to support authorized access practices.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and other distribution activity for irregularities, and communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
