Job Description:
Saab, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, results-orientedPrincipal Program Manager located in Grayling, MI to be responsible for the profitable execution of the Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB) portfolio of products within the Advanced Weapons division of the Land Systems Business Area. The preferred candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of high-volume missile production and integration through several years of working in this domain. Additionally, experience partnering with USG facilities for purposes of demilling and reconstituting propulsion and energetics hardware for reuse is desired. The Principal Program Manager will be responsible for leading a matrixed Production Program staff accountable for timely production and integration of GLSDB missile launchers and Launch Pod Systems. The primary objective will be the on-time, on-cost delivery of all contractual production requirements while achieving contractual design and technical development requirements. The Principal Program Manager is accountable for leading all phases of the program life cycle from inception (proposal development) through startup, execution, and completion (contract closeout).
