As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate with professionalism, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, assist with access-related concerns, and communicate with store personnel and/or local responders when needed.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, documenting incidents, and helping to address policy violations, theft-related concerns, and/or disorderly conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
