This is a hybrid role based in our New York office within Aon's Global Client Network (AGCN) team.

What the day will look like

We add excitement to the daily support activities to be performed for brokers and senior brokers by inviting you to engage in, or even facilitate, client/broker strategy meetings! A successful colleague will also demonstrate capabilities to create innovative solutions for our clients. Additional responsibilities:

  • This role works within defined time boundaries to prepare proposals and endorsements, submission and data analysis, and other activities related to the placement and servicing of structured portfolio solutions.
  • Servicing, billing, and binding of new and existing accounts.
  • Handle requests for quotation to a set of insurance carriers with limited room for compromise, and preparation of reports summarizing results.
  • Handle daily work within established guidelines and receive guidance on newly introduced assignments.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

A knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical and professional arena is critical to success, as well as effective communication and market/industry perspectives and applications to specific client situations. To be successful, negotiation skills are essential, along with a history of building credibility (knowledge/trust) with both clients and Account Executives throughout our extensive internal network.

  • Must have the willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within three months of hire
  • P&C licensing and costs associated with the coursework, will be paid by Aon

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry related experience.

For positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction record in accordance with local Fair Chance ordinances.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 - $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
