This position performs general custodial, grounds keeping, and maintenance tasks from detailed instructions. Typical tasks are listed below. About the Department
Student Unions & Activities (SUA) is a department within the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota. SUA operates three facilities: Coffman Memorial Union on the East Bank campus, services within the West Bank Skyway, and the St. Paul Student Center. The department has a total of 65 fulltime staff, representing all employee groups except faculty, and approximately 200 student employees. SUA's mission is to provide a variety of programs and services to the University community that enhance the social, educational, and cultural environment of the University of Minnesota. These services include student basic needs support, facility rental, entertainment and educational programs, oversight of student activities, and support for a diverse array of student groups.
