THE ROLE:

We are seeking an earlycareer engineer to design and implement datadriven automation solutions that eliminate manual reporting, tracking, and analysis workflows across manufacturing and operations programs.

This role focuses on data automation, analytics, and reporting pipelines. The successful candidate will replace spreadsheet and emailbased workflows with automated, reliable, and scalable reporting solutions that enable faster decisionmaking and improved execution visibility. In addition, this role will assume PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) analytics and execution ownership for the department, ensuring lifecycle data, milestones, and deliverables are visible, traceable, and consistently managed to ensure product launch quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data & Reporting Automation (Primary Focus)

  • Identify manual, recurring data workflows used amongst the Board Operations program management team
  • Design and implement automated data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to replace manual processes
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability across multiple sources
  • Build solutions that support:
    • Daily operational reporting
    • Program and execlevel summaries
    • Trend and performance analysis
  • Maintain and continuously improve automated solutions as programs evolve

PLM Data Ownership & Execution

  • Act as the departmentlevel owner for PLM execution data and reporting
  • Ensure lifecycle milestones, deliverables, and gate readiness are tracked and visible
  • Partner with program managers and engineers to keep PLM data current and actionable
  • Support adherence to PLM processes through data quality, dashboards, and reporting, not administrative enforcement
  • Interface with centralized PLM tools and analytics platforms as needed

CrossFunctional Program Support

  • Partner with manufacturing, operations, test, supply chain, and program teams to:
    • Define reporting needs
    • Validate metrics
    • Improve clarity and consistency of data usage
  • Translate ambiguous questions ("Where's the bottleneck?" / "What's blocking output?") into structured, automated data views
  • Proactively surface risks, gaps, and trends through data - not manual escalations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency with automation, scripting, or dashboarding tools (e.g., Snowflake, Python, SQL, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel automation, etc.)
  • Experience working with dataheavy operational or engineering environments
  • Demonstrated ability to automate manual data or reporting workflows
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with imperfect, evolving datasets

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • PMP certification
  • Experience with:
    • Data automation, scripting, or ETL workflows
    • Manufacturing, operations, or NPI data

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Data Science
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Manufacturing Engineering
    • Computer Engineering
    • or related field

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
