Responsibilities
Come Join Our Team! Manager Education Position located at Corona Regional Medical Center located in Corona, CA Reporting toDirector of Clinical Operations (DCOP), the Manager of Educationis responsible for developing a comprehensive education program and providing development opportunities for all levels of staff at Corona Regional Medical Center. This will be achieved by collaborating with the DCOP and the various department directors. Included in this responsibility is the oversight and coordination of C RMC staff's commitment to demonstrate unparalleled competency and service tits customers. Supports and maintains regulatory requirements for staff competency assessment. Manages the various educational offerings at CRMC and the team executing them; Accesses clinical performance in relation to established performance standards; collaborates with clinical management in identifying learning needs of staff; assesses learning needs of orientees and trainees in relation to their position performance standards. Manages and develops orientation programs to meet individual learning needs; develops objectives for each instructional program. Provides a competency-based orientation program for all categories of clinical service personnel. C onducts well planned, organized, relevant, and clinically oriented programs in response to needs. C oordinates continuing education workshops. Prepares manuals, guides, and other materials contributing to improving clinical performance, updating staff instruction and the maintenance of patient care standards. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.
