We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Program and Program Management to join our Enterprise Custody Services Platform. This role is located in New York. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure that crossplatform, crossproduct initiatives - where outcomes depend on multiple products, shared platforms, and implementation teams - are intentionally orchestrated, proactively derisked and transparently managed.
- Provide strategic delivery leadership, enabling Product Management and senior stakeholders to make informed, timely decisions based on a single, integrated view of value, risk, dependencies and client commitments.
- Establish and maintain a crossplatform view of dependencies, sequencing and critical paths impacting initiative outcomes.
- Elevate management information from retrospective reporting to forwardlooking insight that enables early coursecorrection.
- Partner with STEs, RTEs and senior delivery leaders to identify crossplatform critical paths and systemic hotspots.
- Facilitate seniorlevel forums that connect Product Management, Product Owners and Platform Leads around issues that require strategic decisionmaking.
- Reduce late escalation by embedding a proactive, anticipatory delivery culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on delivery feasibility, sequencing and risk.
- Single point of contact, escalation and status for initiative sponsor and key stakeholders across Product groups and platforms.
- Coordinate discovery and management of full end-to-end plan.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 10+ years of experience in program/project delivery, portfolio delivery, or large-scale transformation in a complex, multi-team environment.
- Demonstrated success operating at enterprise scale, across multiple products, platforms and delivery organizations.
- Deep experience working alongside Product Management, RTEs and Agile delivery leadership.
- Background in financial services, asset servicing strongly preferred.
- Outcomefocused and strategically pragmatic.
- Calm under ambiguity; able to create clarity without oversimplification.
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management skills, including facilitation of decision-making forums.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready status reporting and narrative building.
- Proficiency with portfolio and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, dashboards, dependency mapping, RAID logs).

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $228,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
