Position Overview:

ABC Companies is seeking a Marketing Strategist to play a key role in shaping how our marketing efforts translate into measurable business impact.


This role is responsible for developing and connecting strategy across campaigns, channels, and the customer journey to drive demand and support revenue growth. Working closely with the VP of Marketing, this individual will help bring structure, clarity, and consistency to how marketing initiatives are planned and executed across the organization.


This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who understands how marketing works across channels, can connect strategy to execution, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. This role requires someone who can move seamlessly from strategy to execution, ensuring ideas are translated into clear plans, aligned teams, and measurable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:


Campaign & Channel Strategy


  • Develop integrated marketing strategies across key business areas including vehicle sales, parts, and service offerings
  • Define how campaigns are executed across channels including email, paid media, website, events, and content
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned to business goals and structured to support performance across the funnel
  • Translate strategy into clear campaign plans, including objectives, target audience, messaging, channels, and success metrics


Customer Journey & Lifecycle Strategy


  • Map and refine customer journeys to align with how our customers evaluate and make purchasing decisions
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen lead flow, nurture strategies, and conversion points
  • Partner with the team to implement lifecycle marketing programs that support engagement and progression
  • Recommend and implement improvements to key touchpoints across the customer journey


Performance & Optimization


  • Analyze campaign and channel performance to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Use data and insights to inform strategy and guide ongoing improvements
  • Establish clear success metrics and ensure campaigns are built with measurement in mind
  • Regularly report on performance, highlighting insights, opportunities, and recommended actions


Strategic Direction & Team Collaboration


  • Translate strategy into clear briefs and direction for the marketing team
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, Art Director, and Project Coordinator to ensure alignment across messaging, creative, and execution
  • Provide thoughtful guidance and feedback that helps elevate the quality and impact of marketing initiatives
  • Help ensure marketing initiatives are prioritized and aligned with broader business objectives


Cross-Functional Alignment


  • Partner with sales to align marketing efforts with sales priorities and opportunities
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning for new products and initiatives
  • Provide input on offers, positioning, and campaign direction based on data and market insights
  • Support alignment between marketing strategy and sales execution throughout the funnel


Qualifications & Skills :


  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, demand generation, or a related role
  • Demonstrated ability to develop integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels and translate them into execution
  • Strong understanding of how marketing influences the sales funnel in B2B or high-consideration purchase environments
  • Proven ability to connect strategy to execution and measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to translate business objectives into clear marketing plans, including audience, messaging, channels, and success metrics
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and apply insights to improve results
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive initiatives forward with minimal direction


Preferred:


  • Experience in B2B industries with longer sales cycles
  • Experience working across both strategy and execution
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (i.e. HubSpot)


Physical Demands:


  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 15 pounds (i.e., office supplies or materials).
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Frequently moves within the office environment and greets customers on-site.
  • Regularly operates a computer, phone system, and other office productivity tools.
