Overview
Microsoft Business Operations (MBO) is a large-scale, global organization that enables Commercial and Consumer Revenue Operations, Product and Program Launches, SKU/Pricing Operations, and Enterprise Risk Management programs across Microsoft. MBO partners with Sales, Finance, Engineering, Legal and Compliance to increase deal velocity and quality, reduce transaction costs, and ensure strong operational and regulatory compliance. MBO is accountable for critical enterprise risk programs including Global Trade, Responsible AI, Anti-Corruption, and Digital Safety. This Process Excellence Director role is on the Operations Enablement team within MBO. The Operations Enablement team is chartered to leverage AI and process/continuous improvement frameworks/tools to accelerate operational and business outcomes while maintaining trust, compliance, and resilience. Position Description: Do you have experience transforming enterprise-wide processes? Do you have a passion for continuous improvement frameworks and AI? Then the MBO Process Excellence Director role may be for you... This leader will be instrumental in deploying innovative process/continuous improvement tools/methodologies to streamline workflows and drive efficiencies. They'll also be at the forefront of integrating AI to enhance processes and accelerate business outcomes. This leader will operate at the intersection of revenue operations, product and capability launches, customer and partner lifecycle operations, and enterprise risk programs. They will translate strategy into operational execution at scale. They will lead project teams to design and streamline endtoend operational capabilities-ensuring business priorities are met through clear, efficient, AI-enabled operating models, measurable outcomes, and strong compliance. The role partners closely with senior leaders across Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Risk to drive and implement necessary improvements. This role requires a strong systems mindset, executive communication and presence, experience applying process improvement methodologies in an enterprise-scale environment, and a passion to apply AI to reduce waste and accelerate outcomes. Responsibilities As a Process Excellence Director, you will drive process excellence through Microsoft Business Operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring our processes are AI-enabled and optimized for maximum value. Your experience driving process optimization initiatives will be instrumental in assisting MBO achieve its goals.

Process Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
