Position Highlights The University of Arizona's Information Technology Services (UITS) invites you to apply for the role of Salesforce Architect (IT Architect IV).

The Salesforce Architect leads the architectural strategy and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions to support the University of Arizona Global Campus's (UAGC) growth and digital transformation, collaborating with business leaders, mentoring technical teams, and driving innovation through rapid prototyping and strategic solution design.

Candidates working anywhere in the U.S. may be considered for a remote assignment. If you are selected for this position and are employed to work remotely from outside of Arizona, your overtime exemption status will depend on the laws of the state where you perform your work. For employees working outside of Arizona, you may be hired as an hourly employee in accordance with state laws. A comparable hourly rate range would be $48.03 to $62.44. These changes would not affect the position duties as outlined.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive Salesforce architectural framework that aligns with UAGC's strategic goals and ensures strong architectural decision making for the university.
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with the university's long-term vision.
  • Oversee Salesforce projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring solutions are high-performing, secure, and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to identify opportunities for leveraging Salesforce for strategic objectives.
  • Provide technical mentorship to the development team, fostering continuous learning and improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and enterprise iPaaS platforms.
  • Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect).

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
