Where Your Career is a Force for Good! The American Red Cross is currently seeking an Engagement Intern. This position is located in San Diego, CA and will report out of the San Diego (Fortunada) chapter. Please note that this role is not eligible for relocation assistance. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Internship opportunity for an undergraduate student or trainee to gain work experience offered by an organization for a limited period of time. Assist in the assessment and development of ARC programs. Conduct research related to the program and recommend processes for greater efficiency. Assist with the creation and/or maintenance of program, plans, and systems. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 1: May support unit with research projects. 6: Event planning and attention to detail. PAY INFORMATION: Pay Information: The salary range for this position is (CA): $17.75/hr. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Education: High School or equivalentrequired. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours.
