We're hiring a Treasury Analyst to join County Materials Corp. in Marathon, WI.

Job Summary: A Treasury Analyst will support the continued modernization of the corporate treasury function. This role will play a key part in enhancing cash visibility, forecasting accuracy, liquidity management, and payment efficiency across the organization.

The Treasury Analyst will support daily treasury operations while contributing to strategic initiatives, including treasury technology implementation, process automation, and improved analytics. This position partners closely with the Director of Treasury and Finance leadership to provide actionable insights that support informed decision making.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Cash Management & Liquidity
  • Perform daily cash positioning by consolidating bank balances across multiple accounts and financial institutions.
  • Monitor daily cash activity and analyze movements, trends, and variances.
  • Assist in preparing regular liquidity reporting for treasury and executive leadership.


Forecasting & Analytics


  • Provide analytical support for short term and long range cash forecasting, including improving models, assumptions, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Prepare variance analyses comparing forecasted versus actual cash flows.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to improve transparency into cash flow drivers and liquidity risks.


Payments & Banking Operations


  • Support initiatives to reduce paper-based processes and expand electronic payment methods (ACH, wires, etc.).
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and other stakeholders to improve payment timing, controls, efficiency, and visibility.
  • Assist with day-to-day banking administration, including portal access, account maintenance, and related documentation.


Treasury Technology & Process Improvement


  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and improved workflows.
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS) or other treasury-related technologies.
  • Help establish automated bank balance and transaction reporting.
  • Support efforts to document, standardize, and strengthen treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.


Additional Responsibilities


  • Support banking relationship management activities as needed.
  • Assist with ad hoc treasury analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to building a scalable, well-controlled treasury function that supports organizational growth.

Experience & Qualifications: (Required or Preferred)


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Two to three years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and explain financial data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience building models and analytical reports.
  • Experience working with financial systems, banking platforms, or treasury tools; TMS exposure is a plus.
  • Understanding of cash forecasting, liquidity management, and payment processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information concisely.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across finance and operational teams.
  • Continuous improvement orientation with interest in modern treasury practices and technology.


Work Environment:


  • Work is typically performed in an Office environment.
  • Exposure may include: Light-Moderate noise of office equipment.
  • Travel required: Periodic travel to the corporate office in Marathon, WI is required if officing at the Brookfield location.
  • Typical work hours/shifts: Standard business hours.
